Oak lives on tree time. It spends years growing down before growing up.

Patient, unhurried, intentional.

You'll find this scent in a woodland where oak stands, ancient and patient. A tree that has witnessed centuries pass. There's a bright, particular green bitterness in its leaves, deep and substantial, with a tannin-like depth I found in a black tea extract. 

Walk closer.

Breathe in the bark, the branches, the roughness of a tree and the feeling of warmth. In the heart of this perfume there are several woods; amongst them the extract of French Oakwood shavings salvaged from a timber company. Madagascar vanilla and orris root complete the structure, breathing softness into the wood, grounding the fragrance in warmth and earth.

This is oak in its fullness. Not faded, not distant. Living, ancient, loved. A fragrance born from our awe of the tree.
