Our Ingredients
Each formula is created using carefully selected natural ingredients, organic or wildcrafted when possible, sustainably and ethically produced, and made with mostly renewable resources. Each and every product is vegan and (of course) never tested on animals. We work with an organic German grain alcohol as a base for our perfumes.
While we are proud of where we are right now with Lingua Planta, it is a continuous work-in-progress with the mission improve every step of the process, getting more and more sustainable with every choice we make.

Tapped, in the same manner as Sugar Maple trees, they yield a thin, clear and colorless oily resin that thickens and darkens upon contact with air. The balsamic resin, similar in consistency to Sandalwood oil, is collected for several days after which the tap is removed and the hole sealed with clay; the tapped trees are left to rest for three years between extractions

Steam distilled. The oil is made by steam distillation from the resin of the galbanum plant. This resin is made by incising the rhizome of the plant through which a sap flows out that hardens.
