Did you ever notice the alluring scents emanating from the trees and plants around you in spring? These fragrances are not just for show, but rather complex defense mechanisms. The aromas speak to all the creatures of the forest, warning them for danger or asking them for support and protection. Like trees which release scents that signal their kin to prepare for an impending insect attack or for a herbivore roaming around. Defend is based on this intriguing plant intelligence, where each scent is tailored to specific signals. Trees take care of each other, utilizing their fragrances to protect the weaker ones and to call for help when needed.

Fresh, soothing and a little wild

This deep green and primal perfume develops on your skin like a morning walk. A crisp opening of cut Grass and Galbanum leads us to the scent of forest air, sun-warmed benzoë resins and the humidity of a mossy forest floor with Oakmoss. Defend contains the same phytoncides that have the mind-expanding effect when we actually walk in the forest. Therefore being the perfect example of how transportive scent can be.
